>because she didn't care about youGoddamit, i love when some characters who's depicted as a dumbass that is usually in the wrong ends up reality cheking the "Know it all" character. I know this scene has more to it, like bonding, but usually they would depict the pastor with homophobia or just make him shut up and say sorry. seeing the pastor crush this bitch "know it all" status with his punch of love and acceptance made me care much more about the show.Is there more /co/ moments like that? I would imagine that at least one episode of simpsons exists with a scene like that, since there's all this "lisa is always right" stuff.
you really are taking the wrong thing away from this scene
>>152024073the Daria episode Through a Lens Darkly has a bit where Brittany (the stereotypical airhead character) 'makes a point' about vanity which causes Daria to come out of the bathroom stall where she was sulking after feeling vain/hypocritical for using contacts.
>>152024764Probably, but explain, i could be blinded. I'm just isolating an aspect to focus on one thing I like about it.
>>152024073>who's depicted as a dumbassIsn't the deacon like the narrator in most episodes?
>>152024073Why did Clay rape Orel's boy butt so much during the show? It's weird that no one ever talks about this.
>>152024073It was such a sweet thing, dawg.
great fucking episode
what should have happened in Moral Orel, but didn't
>>152027921No. And Reverend Putty isn't a deacon. Deacons are helpers.
>>152027974He didn't. He was spanking him with his belt for punishment.
>>152029915I like that kiss.
>>152029915Damn didn't know Ai could do good claymation
>>152024073>seeing the pastor crush this bitch "know it all" status with his punch of love and acceptance made me care much more about the show.moral orel is a subversion because the creator is usually known for irreverent Team America/Drawn together type stuff but the arc of the show steadily went from "small town shartmerica is dumb as fuck" to "you don't have to make the mistakes your parents make" and with Orel's grandfather being introduced even adds a new angle that goes something like "even if you were an asshole earlier in life, maybe you can realize you were wrong and your actions negatively impacted others later in life" with the angles all pointing to orel trying to not be like his dad, with his dad acting like a jackass because his grandpa was a jackass who late in life realized that being a jackass is actually bad.
I love my little angel
>>152031628Lol I love shit like this
>>152029931sorry I forgor but I'm pretty sure he did narrate in a lot of episodes marking him as kinda an author avatar of sorts
>>152032574He gave sermons that sometimes tied into the theme of the episode, but he wasn't narrating events.
>>152032358>Orel approaches Smiling Friends because he wants to make his dad smile>Pim and Charlie learn how fucked up Clay and Bloberta really are>Meanwhile, Alan stumbles unto some rando who wants to kill himselfLet's get'er done, Williams Street
>>152032847ThisAnon might be mixing it up with those official little shorts with Rev Putty that were made for a while. I remember people seething about him being homophobic in the series, yet saying necrophilia is okay in one of those shortsHe is a very fun character
>>152032855I think that wouldn't impress pim, he has a crazy family too.
