>>152024389I recently finished watching it with my 2.5 year old daughter. She called it 'bad guy justice league' because she'd gotten used to the trope from Justice League that if characters she knew were dressed different, they were evil dimension /timeline. She adores the show and I'll say it, it's better than Justice League, which constantly spent 40 to 60 minutes on max 20 minutes of plot, often with really drawn out fight scenes where nothing is really changing minute to minute. Action, for a kids show, is a perfect run time and often great. There's some weak rps, but the one ep where booster gold is competent is an interesting example of how serious they could take it while still being a fun interesting adventure. We've just started unlimited, and it's an improvement. Justice League suffered massively from us having just finished STAS, which did much better with pacing

She constantly roleplays as wonderwoman, green lantern, metallo or Lex(any time she's in her high chair she pretends it's a lexosuit because she refused to come out once and I pretended to be Superman and pretended pulling off the tray was yanking off the front of the metal enclosure, them dumped her in bald badguy jail)and she assigns me a character (usually Superman, but it can be weird fits like Zatana) and we do superfights. She knows at least 20 heroes and at least 1 of their powers each and probably 6 villains reliably, but to my great shame she keeps confusing Livewire and killer Frost (across various movies and series, they have the same colour scheme and hair and costume varies a lot). >>152025506She is kind of is coordinating in this and STAS. In the latter she's just someone that was in a cryochamber from near where Krypton exploded, and is dressing up and aspiring, without an 30 year old's temperament. (Ignoring the time Superman tried to kill himself and Darkside and got mad at batman for teleporting Superman out right as the nuke goes off)
