They don't like her work and they're incapable of just not looking at stuff they don't want to see.I've heard arguments that it's racist somehow, the pacing is bad, she's a sellout for signing with amazon, and maybe one or all of those is true. Who cares? Most art isn't very good. The stuff you like blows, actually, from someone's point of view.There's just a subset of people who find complaining about shit they don't like more entertaining than just hyping up what they do. I think it's a shame thing, hate can be aimed at bad stuff, you get to play act a cool and righteous person. Love is vulnerable, you have to be you when you love something, and people can assume whatever they want. That's scary if you think you're a bad person, and I think a lot of people do think they're bad people, mental health is slipping bad.
