I don't understand people bitching about the pilot personnel being replaced. That happens all the time. Shows also shift in focus after a pilot all the time. The first few episodes of lots of shows are often very different than what follows as the writers find out what works and what doesn't, concepts and characters evolve, and some characters "break out" and then the show becomes mostly about them. This is just how the creative process works. And in respect to replacing pilot actors, when you make a pilot you use who and what you can get. Of course getting greenlit with a bigger budget and more buy-in from the industry is going to get you access to better performers. What the fuck do you expect?
