Hi there, I apologize if this seems like an out of place thread as its structure isn’t the same as others on this site since this is my first time using 4chan: I’d like to also apologize in advance if this thread breaks any sort of rules that I didn’t see when I read them for this dedicated board or some sort of personal mod rule.With the formalities out of the way, I’d like to get into the topic of this thread: that being how I utterly despise The Murder Drones Community on the site known as X/Twitter. Words do not describe the amount of frustration I get every time whenever I interact by liking posts or the occasional tweet reading on someone’s own created character or silently observing what ever sort of commotion/controversy goes on that appears on my timeline.I consider myself as an old style enjoyer of media: one who tries to keep what I like the same with little change besides story progression and proper character development. If I chose to make something different within the media I watch, I will usually just make my own spin on it while adhering to the established universe that is created. That if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it.However and I’ve noticed this whenever I first started to watch the show in how ‘rabid’ the community was. Yeah one could just stick to enjoying the show and to not interact with it’s fandom: it’s been like that for years as a solution for many. As of late for me I’ve found it increasingly harder as time goes on to simply enjoy anything without its feral fandom forcing me to essentially ‘hide’ the fact I enjoy it without being lumped in with these groups. At one point I got so tired of their behavior it made me want to give up entirely on my enjoyment of the show.

With some of the other replies giving some more colorful insight.The main issue I’ve encountered is a problem I’m seeing more and more with fandoms as a whole: Murder Drones being no different; is that the/a fandom grows more and more ferocious within itself. Practically eating itself alive in its own environment, for no reason other than some arbitrary reason under the circumstances of ‘moral superiority’. It’s like all form of meaningful discussion was to be thrown out the window for tribalistic group behavior. I don’t understand how a community can advertise itself as open minded to all sorts of different creative callings but only pick up to listen to the same points that’s just ships, drama, and whatever gets the clicks. Though like I said that’s for the Twitter side of the community, I'm hoping to find more within 4chan than I ever could on Twitter.
