No computers.
Anyone else on Judge Doom’s side?
>>152037676I want to shoot hot wads of cum up Roger Rabbit's butt while he makes goofy faces.
Favorite characters.
>>152037676Wrong movie
>>152037676only because they weren't powerful enough to do CGI for the whole movie back thenthe truth is with the same actors and a home computer with a copy of after effects you could make the exact same movie in pretty much the same timeframe today
>>152039517Yep it’s true. That Chip and Dale Disney+ movie from a few years ago? Made with CGI and looks exactly the same as Roger Rabbit.
>>152039517So why dont they
>>152037676>no good video gamessad
autism is one hell of a drug
>>152037676Why would you revoke computer priveleges for Roger and Eddie? Now they are unable to play any flash games on 2005 cartoonnetwork.com....;(Also reaction template material there OP. Eddie being depicted as the chad thug serving tha boss while Roger is the soi beta nu-male.
>>152038687What, you want a place where people get on and off the freeway. On and off, off and on all day, all night, with a string of gas stations, inexpensive motels, restaurants that serve rapidly prepared food, tire salons, automobile dealerships and wonderful, wonderful billboards reaching as far as the eye can see. My God, it'll be beautiful?
Was kinda cool in retrospect how well the animation fit into the real sets. That takes quality art design. It was mostly the awkward movements you noticed from the actors rather than any of the cartoon characters seeming too out of place in most scenes. Not every scene, of course. When the style switched to being more animation-focused it lost that edge, but most of them held up.
>>152040818Only for you, Your Honor~
>>152039615>looks exactly the sameyeah, maybe to a braindead pleb. Roger Rabbit had a LOT more effort and soul put into it than that abortion of a """"sequel"""" - It is possible to emulate the style, just not the best example of that.
>>152038687Is judge doom just the toon equivalent of an uncle tom?
>>152042317I don't think his intention was to be a race traitor. He was just nuts. He killed humans just the same as toons, see: Eddie's brother.
>>152042317He was a wolf of wall street hustler and grindset guy who did seem to care about making loads of money but also liked killing toons and real people alike because he was also very insane and probably thought it was funny. The death of RK Maroon was a straightforward gang hit for property, being the toon guy actually had nothing to do with the plot which was why framing Roger Rabbit was clever to begin with.
It’s a shame there aren’t more fanworks of Judge Doom out there.
>>152038155If he could have only gotten out of his own way.
>>152038687>Be a Toon villain (if the comic is canon)>Decide to become a real villain>Become a corrupt politician and cuthroat developer
I'm one of the weirdos who prefers the book. Well only weirdo. I don't think other people prefer the book. At least I haven't found any.
>>152039615But that has Andy Samberg in it and Who Framed Roger Rabbit has no Andy Samberg so it's an objectively better movie
What would a genderbent version of the movie look like?
>>152043557The badguys win in the final battle because Eddina Valiant can't kick anyone in the balls and can't find a rhyme for vagina.
>>152043565This got a genuine lol out of me, so thanks for that.
>>152043557Female Judge Doom would be the most interesting to see, just by virtue of seeing a woman judge in 1947.
Imagine…
>>152043557Idk but it would have caused more infation fetish.
>>152043565>Nose? That don't rhyme with 'stunt'!>No, but THIS does!>*Edie Valiant kicks girl weasel in the crotch up into the Dip*
>>152040818It's so crazy that this speech is about such mundane subject matter, but Chrostopher Lloyd delivers it in such a way that it sounds like the ultimate supercillain master plan. It really is all in the presentation.
Is that the one with Mario and Doc Brown
>>152043557>>152043565>>152045211>shlubby, overweight, drunk female PIGuys, hear me out...
>>152040818>moral of the movie is about protecting our walkable cities and its minority inhabitants>comic book shows that toon town is basically a no-go zone for humans anyways
>>152045505It wasn't really about walkable cities, it was more about "Let's NOT genocide people for money."Also, this is at odds with the movie.>What's wrong with Toontown? Every Joe loves Toontown!
>>152045570The movie was at odds with itself at times
>>152045616I mean I find that consistent. Humans are subject to toon physics in Toontown and aren't outside of Toontown.
>>152045665Except Eddie's brother?
>>152045827Didn't they say they tracked him to the docks OUTSIDE of Toontown? Then again Eddie expects to die in Toontown so you may have a point.
>>152045870The movie mentions it happening on "yukster street" outside a 15-story building, so I'm guessing toon town. Also explains Eddie's reluctance to go back to toon town.
I love Judge Doom.
Love him.
Don’t you die on me. Who Framed Roger Rabbit threads are the only reason I stay on /co/ anymore.
Is Roger Rabbit considered to be part of Disney Renaissance?
So Judge Doom's real name was something like Pistol Packin' Possum right?
>>152051192Gross, I hope not. I like the Baron Von Rotten name from the comics much better.
>>152051522>grossYou sound emotionally invested into him being a tumblr sexyman so I'll disregard that. I like the theory that the movie hints at him being a toon mob boss with weasel henchmen
>>152051777I don’t want him to be a Tumblr sexyman because they’d turn him into a faggot. I just like what the comics did more, though there’s really nothing stopping him from being Pistol Packin’ Possum as one of the various roles he played. I’d just prefer him to be a humanoid Toon, if a yellow skinned one, if the paint left behind by his dipping is anything to go by.
>>152051777I'd fuck Pistol Packin' Possum, honestly.
>>152045616>>152045665>>152045827Eddie only survived the elevator because it was funny.Doom wasn't being funny dropping a piano on Teddy.
>Teddy has a Betty Boop doll on his desk.>Betty is the only Toon Eddie doesn't hate or treat as an annoyance. You think Teddy and Betty...?
>>152052610That works in theory. But it's still weird seeing toon physics applied safely to a human in a setting where the delineation between humans and toons is supposed to be clear. Now I'm wondering if that guy who got catapulted by a toon at the beginning of the movie died because it didn't happen in Toontown, despite being done for a gag.
Which Toons in the movie are anatomically correct?
>>152053155If they got clothes covering the naughty bits then they're anatomically correct.
>>152039517CGI was at its infancy. Plus traditional animation was still an employable artform at the time. Fast forward to today, & the CGI can now mimic traditional animation.
>>152037676ILM used computers in some capacity to produce the shading effects but not in the way that modern way software does. The illusion had to be created optically.
