Is there even any callbacks or bits of continuity in this show? The episodes I've seen feel like a completely episodic show with absolutely zero continuity period. It's like how SpongeBob didn't have any continuity or callbacks prior to recently where they started relying heavily on nostalgia bait

Powerpuff Girls has some continuity and Kids Next Door has a lot of continuity, but it feels like the other Cartoon Cartoons didn't even do subtle continuity bits

>>152040329That's just how broadcast tv shows were, you needed something you could put in a time slow that could stand alone if it needed to and if you can 2 part episodes you could run a special.TV wasn't always about binge watching and then shitposting about it online it was something you could turn on and if you were interested you would watch TV and if not it would be there in the background, maybe you would glance at it and watch a cool scene, or it would remind you of the passage of time. >"Oh, Family guy is on better turn hen house lights off." Sometimes you had nothing better to do and just found something to watch by surfing channels and come across a half aired episode or a show you forgot, It was still watchable.
