And it's kind of explicit they're only together because she, in her unconfident, dumb bimbo way is hoping this makes her a good person and he's just into her being kind of evil.It being "that sort" of comic, the end result is she trades the last bit of her good soul to save some kids, turns the not!superman on incredibly while on an evil rampage, then kicks him to hell. You do kind of feel for her. Dumb in that way you, the male reader, feel sorry for and probably infuriates female readers. She was hoping for the sappy, lawful-good-paladin-dickings love story, but instead got some guy who just liked her being an evil bitch.
