Should there be a Gumball episode where Darwin meets his biological parents?
>>152067977They were killed in Fish Chicago when he was still an egg.
No but there should be an episode where he gets stomped and involuntarily shits entrails out his anus in excruciating agony whilst high pitched squealing. Then Richard says "You're not my son"
>>152068021Holy cute aggression, Batman...
>>152067977>Should there be a Gumball episode where Darwin meets his biological parents?Ben Bocquelet said they have been trying to write that episode since Season 4, so I assume it's only a matter of time before they actually do it.That being said, it's a tricky episode to write since due to Gumball's episodic nature you have to end it with Nicole and Richard still being Darwin's *real* parents. If they are dead/don't exist, it's probably too much of a downer for a kids show. If they are alive, then they either abandoned him (which the show already pulled with Frankie Watterson) or they were unwillingly separated. If it's the latter, you have to explain why he doesn't spend more time with them after finding out.Realistically it's an episode that only makes sense to write right before the show is about to end.
>>152067977It's going to turn out that they are literal fish if it does happen.
Don't they find the skeleton of Darwin the 1st in The Game?
>>152068134He was unrelated to him and just another random goldfish they didn't take care of.
>>152068134We don't talk about Darwin I
Gumball, Darwin, and Anais!
>>152068134The Wattersons killed a lot of goldfish named "Darwin".
>>152067977Sure, why not
>>152069702There's no way they could have survived this long.
>>152068068I never thought about this question, but that makes a ton of sense. It does feel like a "finale season" episode
>>152067977That sounds like a horrible idea
>>152068068>it's a tricky episode to write since due to Gumball's episodic nature you have to end it with Nicole and Richard still being Darwin's *real* parentsNot that tricky. Adopted kids meet their bio parents all the time while still considering their adoptive parents their real parents. Just emphasize how he's their son because they chose to adopt him
