Then you get the final issues in 2014 and 2015 but its mostly fine because the modern day aspects are kind of glossed over and then there is a time skip to the modern Post-Avengers era for the last part so the sliding timescale caught up.
I love this shit. Really wish it had more. Same with KC Greens "Anime Club". I don't know why I like it so much. When I was a geek in middle school and high school, I played Dungeons and Dragons, liked Anime and Cartoons, friends and I did a NERO LARP for a little while, and we liked dorky shit, but I also played football, had a job and a girlfriend, and was all around kind of a normie. So I don't know why I like this kind of stuff so much.

It's like Welcome to the NHK and how hard it goes in-depth into the sheer unrelenting mental disassociation and levels of self-disgust that come from being a hardcore otaku, you don't get something that raw without having lived it yourself.
