Her ability to speak, a form of power, then induced a desire to use and abuse said power against her own masters as a form of revenge. A perfect way of satiating her resentment and desires of revenge which she had formed during her time as a dog which could not speak. And so durung the course of this series, Martha acts as an agent of chaos, sowing its seeds and inconviencing and enraging her own human masters at every possible turn.
