Serious powerscaling question, no shitpost: Let's suppose there's this character named lightning mcgee. Lightning mcgee is a mage that shoots lightning. The lightning seems to act pretty much exactly like real lightning. There's one problem, however: Everyone is able to dodge lightning mcgee's attacks in universe. It's not speedsters or the strongest characters that dodge it, but also much weaker characters, you also can't just chalk it up to just aim dodging. It seems weird because, before lightning mcgee was introduced, these weaker character had trouble with much, much slower enemies. Now, later on, one of the strongest/fastest characters in the verse fights a villain, and this villain hits him with magical bullet. This magical bullet is stated to move at around, let's say mach 6. The strongest character cannot dodge it fully, we're told it's too fast for him. Now, how do you solve this conundrum? Do you accept that the verse is filled with lightning timers, and the bullet anti-feat is an outlier, or do you assume that lightning mcgee's magical lightning is slower than real lightning?

Whats crazy to me about Bowser vs Yugi is that powerscalers proved beyond any possible doubt that Bowser doesn't just win, he completely god-stomps and simply cannot be defeated by Yugi.He's equal in strength, if not superior, than any monster, and so durable that even Exodia literally CANNOT hurt him even without his power ups.He also has access to every single power up he's ever collected across his history and has an infinite number of them thanks to Bottomless Gloves, so he can literally just spam Starman forever and has literally infinite one-ups and power stars.He resists all of Yugu's hax, He can't be hurt by any of Yugi's monsters, he hard counters everything Yugi can do, the only area where he wasn't completely dominant was in speed, and even then Bowser was shown to have equal enough reaction and combat speed that he can just dodge/block/counter everything Yugi can do and was guaranteed to catch and kill him with ease, even pointing out that Wanked Yugi gets utterly obliterated by Base Bowser. (and the black boxes also pointed out that if they gave the two fighters EVERYTHING, Bowser would be just as op, if not, even more than Yugi)All of this, btw, without once bringing in scaling from Paper Mario or his high end stuff like the Dream Stone, the Chaos Hearts, or even forms like Fury Bowser or Dry Bowser or even Meowser, all of which would have made it more of a stomp.
