JO in particular is extremely important to Frank's character arc, and she stands out as her own character. While MJ's irregular appearances until the wedding make her character less defined. Spidey's problem is that many of the most “memorable” elements were never well written. The team never had a plan for anything, always pumping out material every month. With one thing and another being planned.
