I don't care what anyone says, Patrick was RIGHT.

>when he cared
When was that
It's regularly demonstrated that there are maybe two sea creatures that know how to make a good Krabby Patty, Spongebob and Jim the original frycook, maybe Mr. Krabs
Squidward sucks ass, and anyone else can only make ok Krabby Patties. Not even Neptune could make Krabby Patties as good as Spongebob

Flip the patties, wagie.

>unemployed slob telling the worker his job is easy.

Nudging the rock with his foot and making the sizzle noise is Patrick's best moment in the series. I don't care whether it was a 'fair argument' or not, it was just funny and that's all that really matters.

he knows how to drive perfectly. and made his own home.

We don't know if those patties were good though
They weren't burnt, which is an improvement, but they could taste like shit
Patrick is right in that anyone can flip patties, but not everyone can make GOOD patties

Wasn't Patrick technically employed for this episode?
>>
>>152075747
Yea for 5 minutes.

so he completed orientation at least

Flipping patties isn’t hard just because the most experienced flipper has the best results, Patrick is right

The time his personality got altered and made patties with dimples

Anyone whose worked the grill knows the deal.
What's the time, what's the location.
Working at a roadside diner at 3pm vs working at a bar and grill during happy hour are two totally different beasts.
The flipping isn't the hard part. The hard part is that for some reason management won't limit seating or install a wait when the ticket board is filled after extending it out and we have 10 more orders in the past 3 minutes.
Then the FoH start riding everybody's ass because they want their tips but you're soaked in your own sweat, hoping for the sweet release of death, and since management always comes from FoH rather than BoH, they're gonna side with FoH until the situation is absolutely dire.
Craziest situation I've ever seen working a job like that was when, the next day, 8 people just did a walk-out because they were done with that shit.

Since his inception, Spongebob's primary character trait is that he has an abnormally high amount of passion for his minimum wage food service job.

squidward literally made patties with dimples that everyone loved.

yeah that's what i was thinking

Spongebob has been running for so long and has been so bastardized beyond repair that I can't even be mad at people for forgetting this about the core concept.

Fry Cook Games is such an iconic episode

Regardless of how easy or difficult frycooking is, making fun of Spongebob's job- a job that he loves and is passionate about- to his face was a dick move by Patrick.
>>
He was the Patrick Star
>>
>>152075668
Patrick works for the Krusty Krab on his off-days
>>
>Patrick Star, a creature so chronically lazy and unemployed that he won an actual award for doing fuck-all longer than anyone else, acting like someone's job must easy
Nah, fuck Patrick for that.
>>
>>152075442
SpongeBob works at 11 hours 6 days a week behind a hot stove. There is no breaks, no janitor, no dish washer, no water, no prepper, or anything. SpongeBob does it all. Patrick is a fat bum
>>
>>152075442
Patrick literally could not open a jar
>>
>>152075442
the entire point of the episode was that even if anyone can be a fry cook, only a certain few can be genuinely good at it.
just because you personally don't value the achievement of being a good fry cook doesn't change the fact that fry cooks do value it amongst themselves, as do the paying customers as shown in other episodes.
a thankless job.
>>
Cooking burgers for yourself at your leisure in the comfort of your own home is not hard. Working an 8 hour shift where you have to cook multiple burgers to perfection for multiple waiting customers at a time is hard.
>>
>>152075553

Squidward is so bad at being a fry cook he managed to burn a MILKSHAKE.

And the Krusty Krab almost went out of business when Mr. Krabs tried to make Krabby Patties himself. The person who made this post probably hasn't actually watched the show in years.
>>
>>152085075

And remember that Spongebob does this while the Krusty Krab is perpetually understaffed, which makes his fry cooking skills even more impressive.
>>
>>152076597
And god fucking help you if you're working in a place where the grill doubles as a customer attraction, like a hibachi place or a Mongolian barbecue place, because you get all that PLUS the customers are all staring at you and you're expected to entertain them while doing your job and you can't even let off micropressures of steam by swearing about the endless orders. I worked at a HuHot for three weeks as a grill cook and it's the only time I ever had a mental breakdown at the workplace - the stress of cooking mixed with endless customer service is a dangerous combination.
