MCU really did ruin all other forms of entertainment. There's literally no reason for why characters like Black Widow, Hawkguy, Winter Soldier. and Gamora are in the game. Even if we ignore F4 and X-Men characters, you're telling me the dev team unironically thought Black should be in the game over Daredevil? Winter Soldier should be in the game over the Punisher? Hawkguy should be in the game over literally any somewhat cool villain like Mephisto. or Kang, or Green Goblin. It's just embarrassing how much they didn't give a fuck about the game. Also Capcom, stop NOT giving Dante his DMC1 outfit. It's literally his best fucking design and it's never a costume for no reason whatsoever in any of these fighting games.

I don't even think Daredevil even appeared in another Marvel cartoon after Spider-man 1994 for probably 20 or 25 years. For whatever weird reason Marvel has an odd relationship with the Daredevil character since he's the most underused A-list character when it comes to appearing in other shit outside of comics.. at least until the Netflix show and even then, I don't remember him being playable in many games or seeing in cartoons since then except for one MAYBE two instances.

>>152083907The lack of playable Marvel villains in Marvel games always bugs me besides the obvious ones they use all the time, also yeah honestly even with the exclusion of X-Men or FF characters they had countless interesting characters and picks they could've done even though It's still a shame the Fantastic Four haven't gotten into any of the Capcom fighters. Regardless the game's roster is mostly lacking in the Capcom side and it's clearly just reused assets maybe with some new moves added for characters plus worse models.
