Did The Incredibles really need a sequel?

kinda actually the way the movie ended opened up the doors for some cool new adventures it's just that they fumbled it by making it a bad movie

The whole superhero family theme could've been explored more if the characters had been aged up.
>how aging affects superpowers as bob and helen go gray
>the life balance between a supe and a normal guy, that being between violet and tony
>violet and tony having children and if those kids have superpowers or not
>how jack jack aged into his main powers
But instead we got a rushed and poorly written movie.

Yes but it should have been a timeskip

Back in the day there was a common consensus that it was the Pixar movie that needed a sequel the most but everyone wanted them aged up. Should've been a no-brainer.

It gave us mlre helen booty so I ain't complaining

not really, it should have gotten a prequel instead

Absolutely not, but here we are. Now it DOES need a sequel to redeem the midquel. Incredibles 2 had those worthless, badly designed one-note characters which wasted time that could've been better served developing Dash and Violet.
