But he has a..tendency to whitewash his imperial characters. Mara gets it a bunch, its not as distractingly annoying as with thrawn (wherein i think the dedication to this makes him actively less intresting to me), but it removes some weight from her having been the emperor's hand for me. But there's still plenty of stuff showing that so its not too bad for me.
