Is there any road back to credibility for Pixar?
>>152086341 What do you mean back to credibility it's a humongous movie company how do you think they lost it?
>>152086341Only thing left to do is buy Glitch Productions and risk destroying animation.
zoomers are still defending this shit art stylegen a will grow up and say turning red was absolute cinema
>>152086341not really besides their ceo quitting and getting rid of the BEANMOUTH
>>152086346Most of their recent films have been massive financial failures, and they're seen today as having lost their mojo and only succeeding when they cash in on an old IP for nostalgic millennials (Toy Story) or retards/autistics (Cars).
Yes, make good movies again that aren’t formulaic tech demos designed around one “emotional” scene that they think will win them an Oscar. Make movies where character comes first, movies that push the visuals in new and exciting directions. Make movies that are funny and about characters who aren’t directors’ self inserts.
>>152086341you can't fix something that's already broke. Just go back to the the 2000s and remember when the studio used to be good by rewatching its work. That's all you need to do. Don't watch any of the zoomer-tier shit 2010s onward
>>152086341Why are you included the lady from the beaver film I don't think that one's even out yethttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJnAHzo4-KI
>>152086441Everything modern Pixar makes looks like slop.
>>152086391>movies that push the visuals in new and exciting directionsfuck no, that's how we got stuck in the '3d beanmouth & spoderverse' era of art styles in the first place. just put storytelling first and visuals second. I know in animation the opposite is often desirable but recently cartoons' writing has been so awful that I just wanna see some good storytelling again, save the innovative art styles for when the industry shows us that it still has good writers left. rest of your post is correctyes I wrote spoderverse no I'm not fixing it
>>152087351Beanmouth and spiderverse animation are both styles of poverty (or indifference, in beanmouth's case).Currently cartoons have neither compelling narratives nor enthralling animation, with very few exceptions.
>>152086391>and about characters who aren’t directors’ self insertsor at the very least hire more interesting people to self-insert
