Low level AI apologetics.

>>152089580>Revy uses AI

>AI artistNo such thing. AI doesn't make art, it makes images.
>>152089580> a collection of strawmen
>>152089849I hate jannies
>>152089849>14 fingers
>>152089943I didn't even notice the fingers.Good one.>>152089849Still, probably not worth the 3 days.Y'all niggas truly will draw porn of ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, huh?
>>152089849She's really 800 years old, right?
>>152090030Makes no difference, the ban apply the exact same. And no, she's clearly a loli.
I object to calling it "AI" to begin with , but that's a nuther level of semantics that people have no patience for.
>>152090100What do you wanna call it, sir?
>>152089580>the only reason to hate ai stems from your insecurity and fear of being overshadowedfaggot imagefaggot thread
>>152089796Be real, the only people left making animated art nowadays are Stop Motion people. The snipple toonboom shit written in a micro room, that's not art. That's a cashgrab out of habit for money that doesn't even exist anymore.
> I need AI to make my art for me dont gatekeep art Here you go. The only two tools you'll need to make art. They cost like $5-$9 total.
>>152091110>$5-$9Ay! Oh! Look at mister moneybags over here!
>>152090286nta, but ai in popular laytongue gives the false impression that it is actually capable of thought when in actuality it is better described as simulated intelligenceit is achieving results similar to an intellectual being, but the processes are totally divorced from what thought looks likeso ai art is better described as artistic prpduct simulator generated imagery
>>152091110Don't you need a shit ton of paper if you plan to get any good? A tablet is cheaper in the long run.
>>152091202>A tablet is cheaper in the long run.Yes, but also, that $5-$9 isnt for a single sheet of paper. Its for a sketchbook with 100 double sided pages. You can get a sketchbook for like $4 from Walmart that has 70 double-sided pages.
>>152091431You can get a college-ruled notebook for $0.99 and a pack of pencils for like $5
>>152091196What the fuck do you think the "A" in "AI" stands for?
This is all fucking stupid and we should just go back to making silly ai voice shitposts like the good old days.
ai is a fun toy and i'm going to keep playing with it
>>152092183The issue is people think AI means cortana level being.
>>152089849Only good post ITT
>>152089580Probably the AI fan here. I have no interest in being an artist, but it's fun to screw around with even if the results are sub-par.
>>152089796I think about this sometimes and wonder what the functional difference even is anymore in our world. I guess I've grown numb when I realized by doomscrolling I've passed dozens upon dozens upon dozens of images, comics, and posts, and... just don't remember most of them. It's so rare anymore that anything sticks with me.>But they worked so hard on it!So?>But this is them trying to connect with people! They didn't.>This is them trying to start a conversation! This one's just actual bullshit, no they're fucking not. Youtube and Reddit and what have you are heavily moderated with what you're allowed to say and the responses allowed to be said, Reddit especially is so locked down I doubt a single artist there even knows what a conversation IS anymore, and thinks those seals clapping gif is some kind of heated debate. How did we get to the point where AI could get to this level of permeation, not through quality or ease of use or even debate on ethics, but just because it's just another picture that is gone as soon as you scroll past? Nobody fucking remembers reddit comics, nobody can even find twitter comics half the time, Youtube is flooded with mindnumbing stuff that gets less than 10k views total, what's even the difference between a robot's image you're going to forget or someone drawing a picture you've already forgotten? Ask yourself, you, personally, how many videos and pictures you've seen TODAY, this one day, and just... don't remember, because you don't care, no matter how much effort or time or inspiration they put into it. All that work means as much as all that lack of it. AI didn't make this situation, it just stumbled into the internet era where it could fit right in.
I hate AI because I hate coding/mathematics.I tried to get in to AI but seems I first need to be a /g/eek to do it so properly. I'm not learning what takes most people over 10 years in 2 months just to make cartoon tits. I am not math oriented at all, fuck code.
>>152092261This is something I genuinely consider the issue.Say whatever you want but the AI Dungeon threads on /v/ were fun. We didn't know if we were looking at an eternal disaster or the messy first steps of a future where this kind of technology could be incorporated into every NPC on a more sophisticated level. But we knew we had fun watching it go insane with just how off the rails a story could go in record time. One of my favorites was when someone said to grab an npcs "melons" and the AI interpreted melon as a verb and smashed her fucking head. Then the whole thread derailed as we kept making OP "melon" everything like the inverse of Facade
