so was this show the modern day equivalent to whatever henson's "Italian Film" (https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/The_Italian_Film) was gonna be?(granted it's not italian, but it doesn't have any puppets innit so)
>>152091012They really flubbed up not having a flashback episode that shows why Harriet and Marion aren't friends.
>>152091675she's a biatch, what needs to be explained?>>152091012I think it's normal for the Henson company to make cartoons.
>>152091012Harriet is cute! CUTE!I wish I went to school with girls like that. She could spy on me all she wants. Though I would not have enjoyed school in the 60s...
>>152091925Black person spotted.
>>152092110rocker, actually.
>>152091799true; they did make muppet babies back in the reagan yearshttps://youtu.be/Vlv7oAvLsWo?
>>152092673and the ill-fated fraggle rock cartoon, but it could be argued that's still cartoons OF puppets..but they did other stuff, I mean.. uhh.. well there were those crazy indie films Jim did.. Mirrormask or whatever.. but that doesn't exactly count..The Brothers Chaps and Henson Company were going to make something called like 'we bought a zoo' but nobody would greenlight it.
>>152092673it's so weird, I basically grew up on that show more than regular muppets, Sesame Street aside, and it never occurred to me 'this is a spinoff of an existing thing,' so for ages, seeing the adult muppets felt WEIRD. including that one episode of Muppet Babies that has some peeks at their future. Then I saw the original actual live puppet short that the series was inspired by, and holy crap I can see why it was popular. it was genuinely cute. whatever else the tv series did, cute .. it wasn't.
