Just watched both these movies and I was surprised at how expressive the animation was, the small movements were really well done and I don't think I've ever really seen something like it in other animated movies.

I skipped out on Bad Guys 2 because the premise seemed retarded and predictable. Loved the first movie, though. Did I miss out?

>>152091834I love these movies. Hopefully Bad Guys 2 gets nominated for best animated picture. According to the academy it meets the qualifications. It will have a hard time if Kpop Demon Hunters qualifies (it did at the Golden Globes and it was the big winner there), but if Kpop does not qualify then its biggest competition would be Zootopia 2 and Demon Slayer 2. Demon Slayer 2 is basically only in the running for awards for its technical aspects, and if you try to watch it and are not already a fan it's going to lose you, so I don't think it's gonna win. Zootopia 2 is the elephant in the room but I think most people agree it was not as good as the first one whereas Bad Guys 2 was a step up from an already great film.
