This show had tons of weird fetish/kink stuff in it. Why was this even allowed to air and be shown to children? There's vore in probably almost half of the episodes.
>>152098580But it's funny
>>152098708Is THIS funny to you? Children shouldn't be seeing this shit!
>>152099425Ina cosmic sort of way, yes.
>>152098580What fetish
>>152098580>>152099425Ursula (the brown one) always gave me a massive hard-on when I was a lad.
>>152098580S1 was milquetoast but when S2 came out years later things really flew off the rails. Even the characters have completely different personalities so it really is as if a gang of fetishists unearthed an IP just for kicks>>152100495aw geez lemme think. Ursula also eats bugs that give her a giant, lumpy ass before she transforms into the said bugs. George hides in a birthday cake and gets vored (again)
>>152100495Pic rel is unironically the thumbnail for George Of The Jungle on Plex. This show and its fandom are clearly a gathering spot for fetishists. It has practically any fetish that you could realistically get away with on network television. But stuff involving tummies/bellies/guts is most common. Vore is very common. So it stuffing, inflation, possession, body part removal/attachment, foot stuff, you name it. Sometimes it is just used for a couple gags and other times it is somehow central to the plot of an episode.>>152100861What makes no sense to me is why they changed so much between seasons. Like why did they switch Ursula and Magnolia's names? Why did they change the backstory of most of the characters? I think you are right, it seems like the writers just did this show to promote their kinks.
Canada was a mistake
>cartoon gag>omg le fetish!!!Kys autist
>>152099471What it’s just an ordinary Teletoon- OH MY GOODNESS!!!CANADA!!!
>>152102409There is a clear line between using cartoonish situations for a gag and promoting a kink and this show very obviously crossed it many times. It is fine to use something like that a time or two per series, but when it is used regularly it stops being slapstick and starts getting weird.
>>152102443Kek. I feel like I use this line and the cosmic sort of way one way more often than I should. >>152102546I'm convinced 90s cartoons wrecked a whole generation of people and it just continues into the modern day. It started with the furry shows in the late 80s/early 90s and it reach a fever pitch about 10 years ago. It's kind of funny because now you can tell everyone is afraid to even use cartoon gags like this at all because it'll make their work look bad, even if it's a funny gag.
Fun fact: A guy named Simon Racioppa co-wrote the sheer majority of these episodes, and had his hand in other Canadian fetishslop like Spliced, Grossology, and Totally Spies. He's now the showrunner for Invincible.
>>152102762Guy's living the dream wow>>152101424There's no way they would have been able to launch a new project where most the jokes are fetish material so hijacking a dead cancon cartoon a decade later seems like the perfect scheme.>>152102409For once it's not pearl clutching. I find it more amusing and absurd than anything but we'll see in a few years if anons come out saying they acquired new fetishes from season 2 (2016)
