Whatever happened to Adam Warlock?
Super cool character. I think he's still dead where I'm up to right now. Gotta say 70s Marvel was really firing on all cylinders.

It's kind of a problem when he is vague and mysterious for a few decades. No writer can figure out what he is about, even after reading a few hundred comics with him in it.

Who has had about a dozen power changes in the past because writers already had a lot of trouble grasping what a standard Eternal's powers were. When he has the Soul Gem, he gets odd hard to explain spiritual powers. But the resurrecting thing stuck around, each time he dies he just cocoons and comes back. Sometimes with a different powerset. Then in the 00s he became an actual space wizard since his name being Warlock, they wanted him to have magic. He didn't do much in Guardians of the Galaxy, and it seemed like kind of a step down for him since he usually dealt with top level cosmic entity bullshit along side Quasar and Silver Surfer.
