What are your thoughts on Sonic Prime? Is it a good first watch Sonic cartoon?

I don't like the council of eggmen after the first episode, Rouge is thrown on the team as an ally making her less interesting, and Nine is a pretty bad attempt at mixing up Tails. Has great animation and it's watchable enough, but it's not funny like Boom or unintentionally funny/accurate to the games like X
