This opening is absolutely goated for how flawlessly it shows off and explains it's main protagonists in such a short time. Just from this intro we know everything we need to know about these idiots. Is there a more perfect cartoon intro?

>>152108695There's a difference though. Although the EEnE intro music is catchy, everything about the characters is shown through exposition. Courage literally just explains the premise of the show. It's not like it has a catchy tune or like anything is shown through the animation itself.

EEnE was a cartoon that valued animation and sound so the intro reflected that perfectly while establishing who the protagonists are without needing dialogue. CtCD was more or less a throwback to old horror/B-movie serials and horror shows like Twilight Zone, so a '50s-style expository intro commonly associated with those types fit the show perfectly.
