They use people, sometimes civilians, and undermine social systems. And sometimes out of self-preservation they kill. If we’re talking action movie spies they kill as a job and torture when necessary. Everything about espionage is Machiavellian and not in a corporate media approved way. So since she isn’t a villain she needs to be female John wick and her spying reduced to having international connections and gun fu.

The physical enhancements fluctuate between writers and stories, like cap america.Her being stronger then the average woman plays directly into the femme fatal/boss girl angle where normal women can't pull off the feats she can. So it's not seen as preternatural ability when it really is.
