They could have just stuck to the original Terminator-inspired premise before all the edits and reshoots. Madame Web recruits a bunch of Spider-Women/Girls to stop an unborn Peter Parker from being killed in the womb. They could have had an older Madame Web who pulls them from the timeline/multiverse to address them being older and with powers pre-Peter.
