Why have we never gotten a Morty and Beth episode?

>>152116745We've had a couple. But in any ensemble cast there are naturally characters who either don't work as entertainingly as others when put together or simply don't seem like as natural a pair. Dynamics like Rick and Morty, Rick and Jerry, Rick and Summer, Rick and Beth, and Jerry and Beth pretty much write themselves. And, when you have a finite episode count, I guess it makes sense to opt for dynamics which are more entertaining than the relatively mundane relationship between Beth and Morty. Honestly, Beth doesn't really get a lot of different pairings in general compared to the other characters. It's either a grounded Jerry marriage plot, a daddy-daughter plot with Rick or, recently, whatever weird shit is happening with her and Space Beth. I think she got a couple of episodes with her and Summer? Until Space Beth happened she was clearly the character the writers had the most trouble figuring out what to do with.

Because the loser cunt karens in the office wanted their tough manly space dyke version to shit up the series even more. They still don't know what to do with her and anythign the try is seen as fairly tryhard. Beth and Morty won't happen becaue Morty is the audience stand in and the dislike for Beth will bleed through on the screen and if not done correctly will diminish Morty even more. >>152119071This.
