Would he a better manager of the hotel than Charlie?

>>152116927Yes
>>152116927Earl contemplating having gay sex with Angel Dust to return a favor.
>>152116927They should make a crappy animated My Name is Earl series.
>>152116927Considering that Earl's whole deal was making amends for what he'd done, he probably would be more successful than Charlie, yes.
>>152117147Corner Gas Animated is better than the original Corner Gas. I also enjoyed Everybody Still Hates Chris and Napoleon Dynamite. I think those are the only three times animated adaptations of live action things were ever even decent nevermind actually good (or better than the OG in the case of CGA)>>152117171In Raising Hope, the news on TV flashed a story about how he finally completed his list.Garcia makes some of the best television ever. Earl. Hope. Guest Book. All just fantastic. That RH episode where Cloris Leachman gets put on the sex offender registry because she's got Alzheimer's and was walking past a bus of school children with her titties out was one of the most hilarious things I'd seen in years. I can't remember the last time something made me laugh like that other than that very incident. And I think that was a decade ago if not more.
>>152117327>And I think that was a decade ago if not more.Fifteen years ago, Jesus Christ.
>>152117068This would be in the coma episodes
>>152116927Is that Dave?
>>152118521I'm Dave
>>152118581Hey, Dave!
>>152117029You really think so?
>>152116927Hey Earl
did this show end well? i dont even remember where i left off
>>152120622No, it ended on a cliffhanger. Years later, Greg Garcia told what his planned end was on Reddit. >We never really got the chance to fully figure it out but the talk in the writers room was that Earl Jr.'s Dad was going to be someone famous. Like Dave Chappelle or Lil Jon. Someone that came to town on tour and Joy slept with. But when we got canceled we never got the chance to figure it out. I was worried about doing a cliffhanger but I asked NBC if it was safe to do one at the end of the season and they told me it was. I guess it wasn't. I had always had an ending to Earl and I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to see it happen. You've got a show about a guy with a list so not seeing him finish it is a bummer. But the truth is, he wasn't ever going to finish the list. The basic idea of the ending was that while he was stuck on a really hard list item he was going to start to get frustrated that he was never going to finish it. Then he runs into someone who had a list of their own and Earl was on it. They needed to make up for something bad they had done to Earl. He asks them where they got the idea of making a list and they tell him that someone came to them with a list and that person got the idea from someone else. Earl eventually realizes that his list started a chain reaction of people with lists and that he's finally put more good into the world than bad. So at that point he was going to tear up his list and go live his life. Walk into the sunset a free man. With good karma and finally at peace with what he's accomplished.
>>152120402Hey Crabman.
>>152116927Absolutly yes.Charlie just tells the sinners to be better and nag them. Earl actually builds a rapport with the people he helps. Tries to gain their perception then comes up with a plan to assist their conditions from there.
>>152120695thats kinda cool. i wouldnt be angry with that sort of ending
>>152116927I've always liked the idea of a guy in hell who can regenerate like Wolverine and feels pain. This willpower to endure the pain without reaction being the only force that drives demons away. His apathy being a source of boredom for them as the guy preaches good morals and values. This causes the demons to not suffer from their own pain of constantly fighting each other or killing the souls down there that are meant to be punished which is the only other way they are not shocked/damaged/burned by heavenly powers. The regenerating guy would band together some demons and they would descend lower and lower as they reach Lucifer and find a way back to purgatory by inverting themselves or their position like pulling a sock inside out and landing back to purgatory.
>>152120738Neither would I. Unfortunately, most shows seem to have shit endings, and MNIE is one of them due to NBC being faggots who canceled it. But that one would have been good, had it been allowed to happen.
>>152116927Would this show be the perfect way to make a pitch around the life of Nick Mullen being the basis for a show? Jason Lee is very similar looking imo.
>>152120728I really don’t understand why the original plot of Hazbin isn’t just a reverse version of My Name Is Earl instead of some weird soap opera musical.
>>152120936Because it's not written around arcs or themes that most stories are about but immidiate emotional self-satisfaction. Like, you know how it's a meme that white women literature is just porn without the porn?Hazbin Hotel is fujoshi porn without the porn. It's meant to give immidiate gratification of the creators own fetish. It's also why Helluva Boss became a Coffe Shop AU of itself. Things like narrative, obsticles, arcs and so on were never the point- just immidiate emotional fulfilment. The male equivilent for us is like those Greentexts of being saved by a gf or adopting a qt 3.14 daughter. It's not art, it's filling an emotional desire in you that is being lacked.
