He took over Superman’s Kryptonian ship, left Earth, went insane, and came back in a cybernetic Kryptonian body by using the ship’s technology and Kal-El’s DNA. He impersonated Superman after he died and later blew up Coast City with Mongul. Then he went even crazier and just wants to die but can’t.

If anything the fact that he was a forgotten character created as a jab at marvel just makes it better. if you think about it, he's like The Maker before The Maker. They made such a cool villain Marvel ripped off the change in the character after DC ripped off the character from them.

I like the idea of a twisted Fantastic Four origin, but I never knew why Jurgens chose to use that for a Cyborg Superman of all things.
He needs a better name. I'd go with Lastman for it's philosophical connection to Superman.
>>152122432Yeah, it doesn’t make a lot of sense. It almost felt like a rush job, where they decided the Cyborg would be the villain but didn’t have an origin for him so they just pulled Henshaw in there. I was reading the comics at the time and remember feeling disappointed by the origin.
