During that time the Lich manifested from Sweet P in the school episode, they spoke simultaneously, which showed that there is no Lich under Sweet P. Their past incarnation coming up isnt unheard of, since Shoko haunted Finn. The one time the Lich and Sweet P were shown as separate was when a different Lich was trying to mind control him and force his Lich past to manifest.
