It’s been 6 years without Didio and DC has yet to produce a readable Titans or Teen Titans run. What went wrong?

They couldn't produce a reliable Teen Titans run with Didio too. The entire Titans franchise is garbage in the comics. The wider fandom outside the comics thinks of them as teens, but in the comics they are all stuck pushing 30.

Wait for a writer to come in with a pitch that’s really good, don’t publish a Teen Titans book for the sake of publishing one. My pitch would be>instead of creating OCs like every writer since Wolfman use a group of teen characters in the DCU that have fallen into limbo who have potential (think Morrison’s Seven Soldiers)>It’s really just a group of friends that get together on the weekends to hang out and maybe fight supervillains if any pop up>they hang out in an abandoned super villain lair, no Titans Tower
>>152134083Yeah and instead of organically trying to make another Teen Titans/teen team lineup by bringing in Damian's existing other friends (Maya, Colin, etc) alongside him and Jon followed by other legacies, they instead had Damian kidnap characters 10-15 years older than him, aged Jon up, made a bunch of random ass OCs to be his new teammates, and then tried to make Damian future Hitler.They had the easiest setup in the world for a new TT book carried by Damian and Jon, didn't do it, and then fucked up both characters.
