They never really acknowledged that the Snap and Blip were separate events, and Multiverse of Madness was such an amibitious shitshow that was spoiled by too many cooks in the kitchen while trying to backtrack from other failures, like She-Hulk, the Marvels, the Eternals, and the Young Avengers failing to gain traction, the drama with Kang's actor, t-boning Dr. Strange's storyline and Blade's movie, the Sony-verse/Venom-verse bombing out. Doomsday is their only out with the alternative being that the MCU goes dormant while the DCU takes the lead for a few years.
