Will the daughter be an actual normal person or will she be semi feral?

Just watched the new episode and I am a little lost. How much time has passed between seasons? Miras village was taken over by Vikings and they got attacked by Shamans? I don't know how that man knew who Spear was and it looks like he was buried in the same room where he painted his story but the room looked underground for some reason.
