>>152154912because this whole plot line is retarded. fyi it's canon now that Norman went evil not because he was intrinsically bad, not even because he took the goblin formula (that was the causation, but not the root cause), it was because he made a deal with fucking Mephisto to have Oscorp be successful and Mephisto gave him that wish but with a monkey' paw that he would be his avatar on earth and implanted in him the goblin evil persona. there was even a comic last run where Norman's evil floated out of him like a floating goblin spirit and hopped into Peter. it's batshit retarded and a far cry from the scientific grounding that Spider-Man comics used to have. the only thing I like about it is it kind of makes Peter's deal with Mephisto less random and kind of a narrative mirror with Norman's deal (Norman for selfishness, Peter to save another) and the retcon of Mephisto fucking with Peter's marriage because MJ's and his child is prophesized to take down his rule makes Mephisto creating the Goblin persona make sense to torment Peter and prevent the prophecy (e.g. Norman stole Peter's baby in the 90s)
