While you have parents that neglect kids like the Turners, you also have parents that acts as enablers similar to what the Fairy Godparents do, spoiling their kids by letting them have and do almost whatever they desire. Wanda tries to be the voice of reason at times, but still caves in and allows Timmy to engage in things that would be harmful to him.
