More likely Sam will asks Scott to tell his people to work with the Avengers, and Scott while admit even if they were tricked to fight each other he can't trust working with them because of the ostracization mutants have faced with paramilitary operations, Sam will then bring up something about his own hurdles as Cap and in general, how he's worked to not only overcome those people but lead them down a better path like he knows Scott has tried and can, then they'll bro hug or something.
