If Viv didn't want people assuming Stella would be sympathetic, she shouldn't have had the first scene of Helluva Boss's first real episode feature a woman whose anger and anguish at her husband cheating on her was portrayed sympathetically. True, the show doesn't try to claim she was justified in murdering him, but it still paints his infidelity as wrong and her being upset about it as understandable.
