Stupid premise, yeah, but this was Cartoon Network in the 2000s. This wasn't long before Flapjack aired.Anyway, the scrapped final episode of the show was complete tonal shitf from the rest of the other episodes. Adam, while walking to class, was accidentally killed by his best friend, Jake the Spidermonkey, after he hit him way too hard on the head. Jake tried to wake him up before the bell had rung, but Adam never woke up. Scared, Jake offered Adam to a school of pirahnas as a means to dispose of the body, To act as though nothing had happened.Adam's other friends: Ingrid Giraffe, Slips Python, Lupe Toucan, and Windsor Gorilla were all worried about Adam. They all saw him this morning. Ingrid frantically asked Jake were Adam was, begging on her knees and lowering her head to meet the tiny chimp's face. She begged, begged, and begged. Where was he?She wanted to see him again. Even if he already had a girlfriend, she wanted to see him. Later in the episode, missing posters for Adam were spread out through the school and the surrounding town. The search had even missed the nearby human school, where Adam's human girlfriend, Kerry, is attending.Kerry and Ingrid would hold a vigil after Adam hadn't been found for a year. Life continued on without Adam. Eventually, the animal school would move location and shut down. The final shot of the episode shows Adam's bones laying at the bottom of the river beneath the school. The pirahna's that devoured him were never caught. Jake never confessed to accidentally ending his best friend's life. Adam's parents were told he went on a trip to the Amazon rainforest for a class. Lyon.
