https://comicbookmovie.com/x_men/x_force/rumor-marvel-studios-moving-forward-with-an-x-force-movie-for-the-post-avengers-secret-wars-mcu-a225994Starring Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Josh Brolin as Cable and a new actress as Storm. Written by Reynolds and likely to be directed by Shawn Levy.
>>152187510yeah that's what we need, 60 year old wolverine staggering through yet another wolverine movie a decade after wolverine said he was the best there was at wolverining and what he was done with was wolverineand what the fuck, a new actress? what was wrong with the last two that isn't wrong with fucking jackman or brolin or reynolds? fox-men was a mistake
Zendaya as Storm
They really are going to make Logan boring and not special just like he has been in the comics for the last 20 years.
Watched Deadpool 3 last night for the first time. I was pretty disappointed with it but I knew that a multiverse story was bound to be boring. 1 remains the best, 2 is enjoyable but I can take it or leave it. Hopefully the X-Force movie will not have any multiverse shenanigan so it might be good.Jackingman is too old now though, I can only imagine what kind of money they're offering for him to come back. Reynolds is fine still as Deadpool (the heavy makeup hides his age, and anyway I always imagined him as being around 40), and Brolin fits cable well. No opinion on Storm, I don't even know if she was in the new Fox movies.
>>152187573that sounds like great news
>>152187510>jackman as wolverinewhy not just move forward with laura? we've a wolverine conclusion like three times now (possibly four cuz he's probably gonna be in doomsday or whatever). seems like the perfect time to just do x-23 on her own
>>152187620Still easily the BEST Deadpool. The only thing I HATE is the Johnny dying a horrible horrible death just for a attempt of a joke.
>>152187570but Zendaya is Meechee
>>152187736The whole Deadpool wearing a wig and being a boring guy turned me off bigtime. The rest of the movie he's alright, though I'm not a fan on how he got Johnny and Nicepool killed because it felt more like he was being just plain dumb.
>>152187510so much for retiring from the role, I wish we could just get a new Logan already and just port over Laura from D&W into the main MCU timeline
>>152187573How is he "special"? He's a dude with a metal skeleton and knife hands that regenerates, how fucking special could he be to the rest of the universe from a non-meta perspective? This sentiment smacks of turning Spider-Man from a kid that had a fucked sense of luck having a radioactive spider bite him into some sort of multiversal constant with that animal totem bullshit.
>>152187510Sounds fake
>>152187694>with lauraPeople outside of the shitter/plebit online bubble want logan. x-23 exists to enrich logan's lore, not be an actual successor/replacement. No one actually likes the concept of mantles, unless you mean to tell me people want shuri panther?
Storm in X-Force is wildly, disgustingly out of character.
>>152187736Sadly that was the only way they could get Chris Evans. He would only do a short cameo so one way or another Johnny was getting killed
>>152188006He's cool.
>>152187620>>152187736Deadpool and Wolverine had some good moments where it felt like it wasn't ashamed of being a wacky comic book movie, but it also seemed super lazy at the same time. I feel bad for enjoying parts of it because it's terrible from a filmmaking perspective.
>no Halle Berry>not watching
>>152189660She's been on the roster before. As has Colossus, who seems even further removed from the idea of X-Force. Not sure why you'd want her in other than being the most popular X-woman, but it's not completely out of left field. It's sort of like you can add Wolverine to any Marvel team movie, and it works because he's been on just about every team in some form over the years.
>>152191204Yeah bringing back Hugh and Brolin yet recasting Storm is very weird. Maybe there's still tension over Wesley Snipes being in Deadpool 3 because he and Halle Berry had a very poor relationship in the past.
