Yeah but Idk I think if I ever have a kid I'm learning towards circumcision, how about /co/?

Gross

I'm thinking probably not, since its not necessary and rightfully pretty controversial. Though I will admit smegma is fucking gross and people have a lot of problems with it.

I'd be more against it if it crippled your ability to feel sexual pleasure like a lot of people thought, but recent studies have apparently shown the difference is negligible for most people.

I had a kid and he got circumcised, honestly it was a good thing he did because he’s on the spectrum and it took us until he was 4 to potty train him.

As a disabled motherfucker I think it should be my kid's right to choose that as an adult.

I don't (and never had) a dick, is smegma something really difficult to keep up with? It just sounds like basic hygiene to me.

What, did they botch the circumcision?
>>
>>152193254
Sure let's go with that

I also agree with that. It isn't a huge loss or disfigurement or anything but it's also something I think people should have a personal choice in. It's your own body, after all. I can make exceptions for religious practices since parents genuinely believe that's a matter of a child's mortal soul, but only because it's relatively minor. If it were something like lip plates or FGM I'd be 100% against it.

It isn't hard to keep up with, but if you don't know you should or how to, it can build up and get nasty. However, the flip side is if you don't have foreskin your glans is sensitive to your underwear rubbing against it too much and causing chaffing and rashes occasionally, so you might also need to keep with that with skin treatments. So you're just trading one problem for another.

Where I live, they (used to?) do it without even asking, like it was just a regular part of newborn care. Parents have to specifically know they do it and ask them not to. It's some serious bullshit.

It's basically just dead skin.
Like any part of the body, especially other crevices and folds, if you don't wash and scrub it when you bathe, it will build it, but it takes like 5 seconds to wash and scrub you dickhead and foreskin, so it's only really a problem if you already don't bathe regularly, and even then you can still just remove it without a bath being required if you feel like it.
