I just feel bad for Affleck. Batman for anyone else would have been a career defining role. Instead he got dragged through several layers of production hell and had absolutely nothing to show for it afterwards.

You'll recall that the whole process also kind of set off his personal life spiraling out of control for a while. Or, if him being Batman wasn't the trigger, then it certainly didn't help. He was a bit of a clownshow for a while.

He seems to have righted the ship these days, which, well, good for him.
