Spider8reath is both a very comfy and dramatic ship. And honestly the only reason it never became a mainstay like davekat is because Hussie murdered it with the ghosts dating and breaking up. I didn't need it to be "end game" cause honestly the most appealing part of it to me is 2 13 year olds who don't know anything awkwardly trying to make an inter-species romance work. Vriska helping John with confidence, and john helping vriska with her self loathing and domineering attitude. Making both of them grow into better people. It almost feels like Hussie was scared to make either develop too much too soon, so they had it not happen at all.
