I picked up Batman but it's pretty meh. Haven't read it past the first arc.
Wonder Woman does not seem interesting. The first issue was generic dark fantasy, but Sherman's art was alright. Wondy should be prettier, though. I might give it a second chance.
I left off with Martian Manhunter before the Christmas issue. It's been so-so, but I'm mainly reading it for the art. I might pick it back up when it hits 12 issues.
I haven't gone past the first issue on Superman, Flash, or Green Lantern, as they were quite bad.

I think they're starting to stumble now that they've gotten past the introductions and establishing of their worlds. Not so much in quality--every run is generally about as good or bad as it was before--but some of them are starting to feel a lot less dark and strange, which was such a heavy part of their identity.

I'm really enjoying them, made me wanna get all the floppies for Batman at the very least. It's fun going to my LCS and seeing the buzz as everybody's reading the newest issues. They don't appeal to everyone but so far, it's been nice catching up on all of them. I got gifted a year for the DC app, so I've caught up using my tablet or trades I come across.

The problem is that it's not Absolute Levity. The reason that Absolute Batman stays fresh is because even its levity is baked into the rest of the ridiculousness of the situation. He'd be in some absolute hellish situation but then you get the goofiness of him punting a child into the water, running full-sail naked through Ark M, or other similar nonsense.

When Absolute Superman (and to an extent, Absolute Wonder Woman) become a bit bright, they're not breaking things up in a way that actually fits Absolute; they're just become a bit less Absolute for a bit

It's good to have a blank slate. They should do more Martian Manhunter oddballs for lesser popular characters. Green Arrow and Catwoman are not the characters that should've been given Absolute titles, instead use characters with a small fanbases that have potential but you don't really wanna give an ongoing to like Creeper, Atomic Knights or Blue Devil.

I have a few of Martian Manhunter, Flash, GL, WW, but only really read Supes and Batman. I just got so busy the last few months that I never got to read em. Will be checking them out now that Grok has been censored and I'm free from gooning. I particularly want to go through MM and Flash.
