As weirdly ghoulish the bodies are they're still oddly detailed and comparatively more anatomically correct next to the faces and how the heads sit on the necks (I don't have to point out how fucked up the faces are most of the time). Also the backgrounds are definitely traced if they weren't made in some kind of program. The characters look like they live in some kind of fake room you'd find in a furniture store. There's no signs of them actually living in their apartment, if that makes any sense. Not all of it can be traced but the artist strongly relied on references at least.

I disagree, the bodies are extremely stylized in such a way that would be hard and oftentimes impossible to trace, they seem "correct" because they're more well proportioned for the cartoony style of the comic but they're not actually correctly proportioned to real life anatomy
And if you saw the artist's old work you'd see that they had a better understanding of stylized bodies and seems to have regressed in their artistic abilities
There might be some referencing but it certainly doesn't look traced

As for the rooms however I agree they are at times so strictly straight and cubical that it looks out of place but I spot some fucked up angles there at times as well, my best guess is that it's just heavy use of the ruler tool and some semblance of understanding of perspective and form
