I feel the same, with some caveats? I specifically don't find it interesting for a girl to jump into it with both feet, with no apprehension or intention to resist. There's a push-and-pull that's missing there. But one way to salvage it (to my tastes) is to lean hard on the forbidden/repressed temptation aspect. Like in practice most hypno antags in fiction are people you really do not want to fuck with just to get your rocks off, since they either have "bad ends" baked into their motivations or just don't care to avoid them. Kaa's the obvious example, but even tists that don't kill their victims usually have nothing good in mind. And I think the most appealing way to write a girl with a burgeoning interest in getting tranced and taken is to balance that drive with a realistic-or-nearly-realistic awareness that it would really be a very bad idea for her to get herself into those situations on purpose, or to not resist as hard as she can if someone starts enspelling her, etc. That's my gayass ramble.

Aside from hypno, I'm into weight gain, inflation, bondage, and intox. I'm into vore, peril, and bad end, but pretty much exclusively in the context of hypno and intox- I don't like watching characters suffer, I get worked up by the tension between "bad thing is about to happen" and "character is too tranced, drunk, or high to stop or even notice it".

I haven't found any really meaningful overlap with inflation and weight gain. And no real preference on gender in any role, as long as the guy is cute and twinky.
