i remember a movie that had blue characters like smurfs but there was a character of a tree with face and but not the skinny one like in Shrek, it was fat tree. I felt like it disappeared because the cgi was not advanced yet.
>>
A long time a go in Elementary I watched this little animation from a 90s VHS I think of what was a farmer who force-fed his chicken food so that it could lay eggs all day until it died or no longer gave eggs. I'm pretty sure its from some compilation series or something. Any ideas?

>claymation or stop motion or similar vibe
>something like toy-like animal characters living in their neighborhood
>the way I remember it the houses looked like colorful vases or teapots or other similar shapes
>it was a very simple closely packed neighborhood with no car roads or grass, houses were just objects strewn around
>the floor or the background was white or really bright
>I think remember a bear character but it's not Paddington
The closest reference I have is Pingu but with a softer and more colorful vibe, I remember seeing it on Croatian television in the early 2000s but it's almost definitely not Croatian

I also remember another similar thing that could've been a different episode of the same show or a different one that I'd also want to find (if it's different)
>vase-like house on the right side of the screen, door on the left side, sea behind, house on sand
>inside the house was also a sand-like floor or similar texture, it wasn't a regular house but just the inside of a vase slightly furnished, heavy nautical vibe
>also very light backgrounds or sun shining through the window, the plot was something about a seagull or fishing net
>>
There was this adorable movie that had both some live-action footage combines with animation, it told the story of some (animated) characters that watched over sleeping humans, promoting good dreams. They had some minion creatures that looked like little balls of soot n& called them 'Figmen of the Imagination'.
Could someone provide a title? I think it was out around late 1960's to early 1970's. Thanks in advance.
>>
>vegetables come to life in a garden
>look for reason why they're alive (or some similar serious theme) through the garden, house, shed
>eventually find the vegetable/plant that mutated them (in the shed?) and have a confrontation
>mutation, mutilation, experimentation themes, pretty heavy stuff
>potato is either protagonist or antagonist or important character
>artsy artstyle, good animation, watercolor backgrounds with white showing through
This is THE fever dream cartoon of my childhood, the living vegetables theme should be a dead giveaway but I can't find any evidence of anything like this ever existing
>>
I have the vaguest memory of one as a kid but don't know what to even search for
>probably a movie
>characters are anthro cats iirc
>possibly olden times setting, had a villain in a high position of power ruling over people
>dream sequence with a duet between the protagonist & his love interest, imagining himself as a knight saving her from the villain in a dragon form
>>

Probably not correct but the villain potato makes me think of:

I saw this either on animania hd or cn and im pretty sure it was animania hd as an animini short, and all of the animinis were shorts made in canada by various artists. This was early 2000s.

It was a 2d one, not a crazy detailed or very distinct artstyle about a i think hispanic family who was wild and crazy, and then had even crazier extended family come to visit or live with them. The uncle taught the kids how to make fake money in the basement with a potato stamp or something like it, and the visiting kids broke all of the girl and boys toys, including pulling the head off a "muscle man" super hero action figure.

It's very close but the way I remember it the neighborhood was far more abstract, just fun shaped houses on a white or simple but bright surface with no roads, grass, infrastructure etc, I distinctly remember the tall vase shaped house in a vibrant color like yellow or orange or red

Ironically this looks more like what I remember than the actual show

Here's a very rough approximation of what my impression of it was, though I remember some more regular looking houses, some with a yard etc, that the regular characters had, note that my memory has probably been warped beyond recognition

I also feel like it had a teaching segment with letters on a blackboard or something

I actually found all the forgotten cartoons I had trouble finding.

The first was A Journey Through Fairyland.

The second was Secret Adventures (the Christmas episode).

I wish I could find the trailer for Thumbelina that I had on a VHS before another movie, where a female voice goes "Thum-be-li-NAA"

I saw some movie in the 80s, I think it was French, and the only thing I remember was a scene where little faeries lined up by gender and then marched up a hill where they paired into couples and I think sex was implied, but like it was a metaphor for twilight or something like that? One of those weird post-hippie 70s style nature things maybe?
>>
>>152264442
I saw this animated film (or maybe it was a short show that aired all the episodes in a row) about a rich douchie guy who at some point in the plot goes broke.
I distinctly remember two scenes: One was inside of a building, and the rich guy was driving his motorcycle in the hallway of the building, and then he came across a hot blonde girl changing (covered in white sheets, kind of life Marilyn Monroe).
The second scene was with this hot girl and the rich guy, now the guy was poor and they shared this scene under the rain talking about the guy's situation.
The art style was very 90's with a 50s vibe. Imagine if Claudio Biern Boyd made Rock Odyssey.
It had a Castillian dub, so maybe was done in Spain
>>
>>152264612
>>152265644
Also I found an old note about it and it says "bear in a tea cup" which leads me to believe it could've taken place on a table with a white tablecloth where the houses were things like kettles and vases

I have nearly given up hope of ever finding this cartoon that has been in the back of my mind for 24 years, but here goes
>2001, 1st grade, movie instead of class
>a bunch of kids are around a campfire in a cave with a Native American shaman
>he tells a story where all the characters are anthro animals with normal 90s America clothing and culture
>they have a big war using modern military weapons, e.g. an eagle jet fighter taking off from an aircraft carrier
>their fighting pisses off the ancients, buffalo headed Egypt-style furries in loincloths, who rise from their slumber and strike the ground and cause huge explosions with their caveman clubs, BTFOing all the animals from earlier
there was some kind of lesson after that but I was probably too fixated on the awesome shit I saw to remember it. There's one reddit post that maybe MIGHT be what I'm looking for, but nobody ever responded to it

Also, before that there was this cartoon with an old guy wearing a suit and hat in a hot air balloon and this white girl. they land in a desert and the girl says hi to this dot Indian looking lady and then tells the old man "wow she seems mad" to which he replies "sometimes people of different cultures might seem mad, but they only seem that way because their culture is different". It was a very weird "lesson" but I'm not sure if it's a totally different cartoon or something related (a part of a movie? an episode of a series?) to the one I really care about.

A Western cartoon movie that I believe was shown on Cartoon Cartoon Fridays exactly once. It was about a guy (who might've been from the future but I'm iffy on that) teaming up with a woman I believe was Calamity Jane and two other guys and going in adventure. All I really remember is one of the guy's personal hero was Wild Bill Hicock and they get a bounty out on them for some reason. I'm one scene the main guy is at a bar and actually gets drunk (very surprising for a kids program) and starts running his mouth about their plan amd Wild Bill arrests him but then the guy who looks up to Wild Bill holds a gun to his back and says: "Sorry, Mr. Hickock." and they rescue him, then I believe that guy was uoset he had to do that to Wild Bill afterwards.

Been trying to figure it out for years.

Watched the whole series last year and ended up buying the strip compilation because I was constantly laughing my ass off.
Apparently Schmidt created it because he fucking hated American comics and exaggerated everything to shit on them.
However, instead of flopping it actually became a surprise hit and he nearly couldn't draw it anymore later on because he was absolutely sick of it and couldn't believe how and why people would actually love it.

This one's been bugging me for a while. Animated sequel to The Wizard Of Oz, aired on ABC in the 80's or so. The wicked witch's sister was out to destroy the forest using these things that looked like old-timey steamrollers like picrel but with faces and spikes on the rollers.
I've gone though the entire list of animated Oz adaptations and nothing sounds like it. The closest plotwise is Journey Back To Oz, but that had green elephants instead of steamrollers.

I actually did a bit of digging and it turns out it's probably Spud and the Vegetable Garden (2001)

It looks absolutely nothing like how I remember it, but the plot with them looking for something in the garden, eventually ending up in the shed, and finding a scary Frankensteined vegetable "antagonist" there is way too similar plotwise to not be it, along with it being the correct timeframe, it's statistically impossible for it to be anything else

Crazy how vivid my memories of it are yet apparently wildly wrong

I don't have the answer for a single one of the cartoons in this thread, sadly, but I have a lost cartoon of my own. In the early 90's, I watched a cartoon that I could swear as about a young boy volunteering at an old folk's home and having adventures with the crazy old characters who lived there. I don't remember any details, but the concept is pretty unique.

I’ve got two:
One I think is from very late 80s. Maybe I saw it on Nickelodeon? Two kids accidentally make a dough monster out of flour. The kids also might be kinda small?

The other must’ve been from a couple years later. Mid-evil, storybook setting. About three brothers who decide to part ways and see the world.
They meet up years later to show off theirs new skills. I sorta remember one could crack a lineup of eggs at once, while another was able to magically sew the eggs back together before they shattered.

1. What's the predator-and-prey chase cartoon short with a fox and mouse (or other prey character), with the fox chasing the mouse into a lake, then the mouse dumps a barrel of toxic waste in the water and the fox comes out but he's been mutated into a giant Godzilla-like monster from the waist down? It looked stylistically like (and possibly was a segment on) Animaniacs or Tiny Toons.

2. What's the British cartoon about cute woodland creatures on a giant tree, and at one point one of them is crying and says "I'm not sad--these are tears of happiness"?

> Pseudo anime style
> There is a robot character
> Said character has one of those featureless faces
> He has…dance moves?
> And said moves are recorded onto a CD for some reason
> Ending has a shot of a character (get the impression of bad guy) watching this CD on a large screen, and somehow that gives him the information to refine his dastardly plot
> Even says “you really do have some moves”
> This shot is composed so that the camera angle is upwards from the floor (worm’s eye view)
> The room where this CD is being watched is only lit by the screen showing the dance moves

I’m rather positive that half of this is a false memory.

There was this one cartoon from 2010 that aired on either adult swim or maybe even CW. It was a generic adult sitcom but the protag was a Zombie who hated being a zombie. 2. could be Oakey Doke, while it's stop motion, I think the animal cast could get melodramatic enough to say things about happiness tears; nice acoustic theme song too.

2. also got me thinking back to Noah's Island as well, not strictly woodland creatures and they did inhabit an island volcano rather than a tree, but I figured it'd be worth bringing it up.

Cant remember a stop-motion claymotion short that was aired on TV.
Was about anthromorphic animals on their daily lives, no dialogue at all, and either modern or early 20th century. I remember it starting with a girafe starting a (radio? gramophone?) then it showing animals like a pig sleeping on a moving train....
Anyone remember this?

There was this animated film that I saw when I was young where the main character is a anthropomorphic pig. The main character has a mother and two brothers. The only part I remember is he gets lost in the woods and gets separated from his family. I think he meets some kind of animal that becomes his friend.

>Everybody Loves A Moose
When I was a young lad I used to like girls,
I'd fondle their bodies and play with their curls.
'Til my girlfriend ran off with a salesman named Bruce,
Now you'd never get treated that way by a moose.

Now when I'm in need of a very good lay,
I go to my closet and get me some hay.
I go to my window and spread it around.
'Cause moose always come when there's hay on the ground.

Gorillas are all right on Saturday night,
Lions and tigers, they puts up a fight.
But it's just not the same when you slam your caboose
As the feeling you get when you humps with a moose.

I've done it with beasties with long flowing hair,
I'd do it with snakes if their fangs were not there.
I've done it with walrus, a monkey, and goose,
But it's just not the same when you screw with a moose.

I've fought many battles on fields, and on Farms
I've had many women in beds, and in barns
Some men serve Odin, and some men serve Zeus
but you've never known service, til you've serviced a moose

Now that I am old and advanced in my years,
I look back on my life and shed me no tears.
As I sit in my chair with my glass of Matheus,
Playing Hide-The-Salami with Melba the Moose.

Moose, moose, I likes a moose,
I've never had anything quite like a moose.
I've had lots of lovers, my life has been loose,
But I've never had anything quite like a moose.

I have two of them
One was a 80-90's cartoon with dinosaurs and had a he-man kinda artstyle, people rode the dinosaurs and the main villains were lizard people riding dinosaurs.

The second was a animated movie with a sort of care bears artstyle. I'm pretty sure the main characters were animals and the main villain was some short fat guy who wanted sleep or did something to time so it was permanent night. pic related was the villain and no its not smurfs.

There was this one that had these toys. I think the characters were aliens, and they had mechanical suits. The suit was like a hard plastic, but the dudes inside were a softer plastic, maybe even rubber.
Definitely wasn't Exo-Squad, since the figures inside were hard plastic too, I know since I still got whatshisname with the purple mech suit lying around somewhere. I think the show was also super short lived, like maybe got to 3-4 episodes and then got pulled. Can only guess they blew all the money on the toyline or something.
Still mad some little shit in second grade stole my guy, even if I can't remember which character it even was.
>>
It's something live action, but might as well take a shot and ask.
It was either a series of movies, or hour-long episodes. Main character traveled through time and space kind of like Dr. Who, except he's chasing villain in a a suit of power armor. I think there was something about a race of subterranean people who weren't quite cave people or whatever as a setting. The one thing that stood out was the villain lost his armor, only for one of the supporting characters who helped the MC to steal it and basically become the new villain.

It was some sort of kids cartoon, there was an older brother character, the yard had a basic playground set with swings and a slide I think, at some point someone (Probably the older brother) was making a peanut butter sandwich, the older brother was a bit mean and was maybe bald, and maybe this was a different episode but at some point they went on a field trip with some other characters up a mountain, a goat showed up at some point, and at the peak a character asked an adult why the peak wasn't sharp like in pictures, and it was explained that it only looks like that from far away, and that up close the tops of mountains are very big.
I don't remember any names or even exactly what the artstyle was, when I think about it the closest thing that comes to mind are the animated karl pilkington shorts. Maybe that's just because of bald heads though. Saw this on a vhs tape that recorded a lot of old cartoons, there was dora the explorer and that popsicle stick motherfucker on the same tape. I watched this in the early 2000's

>>
It's a fairytale sort of animation.
I think 90s, but could be earlier.
There is a character that uses blue cold wheat or firewood to cool down a fire heating a house by mixing in the cold wood/wheat with the normal firewood.
The house becomes a "safe" sauna as a result.
There's also a character that binds his leg so that he doesn't run fast.
A main character gathers these friends to help him overcome these challenges given to him by an antagonist bent on killing main character snow themed with forest

>>
A movie that mixed real life with animation. In one scene a cartoon fairy seduced a guy sitting in his trousers and being lifted by his boner. She might have been a villain.
>>
>>152264442
It was probably some sort of anime.
I think I also thought that heroes were akin to Fantastic Four. Probably a family with their leader being a scientist.
Their enemies were lead by an ugly scientist, I think he had green skin. One of his minions was a woman who was constantly wearing mask. I think in one episode she got her hands on a ray that was making everyone love her, so her boss and the leader of the good guys were affteced by it and working together on upgrading it to spread it all over the world, and the unaffected ones had to stop them
>>
It was either a cartoon with an animesque art style or anime that aired in the late 90s or mid 2000s. Plot started out as a bunch of teenagers getting into wacky and weird SOL antics. After a few episodes of comedy SOL, a flying viking ship appeared in the sky and its crew kidnapped the main girl. After that, the plot was about the remaining characters traveling (to other dimensions?) to rescue their friend, defeat the Viking ship's crew and uncover the truth behind her kidnapping. The protags were sometimes joined by allies they helped during their travels or people who had a grudge against the flying Viking ship.

One of the villains from the flying Viking ship fought using an oar. I don't think he was the big bad, but more of a personal antagonist to one of the teens.

I think the episodes before the flying Viking ship and its crew debuted had a tonal shift. They were more supernatural than wacky SOL.

Pretty sure it played "on earth" and the animation aesthetics and character design were definetly western.

Thanks anyways for the try.
>>
>>152297987
Are you sure?
The exact scenes you remember exactly as you remember them all exist in Nausicaa. Nausicaa and Asbel fall into quicksand in the jungle and he "swims" through it to save her from "drowning". They fall through the forest floor into a flooded area with pale green columns/cylinders. Kushana rides the God Warrior and it melts into goo as it blasts the bugs and other armies. So jt has all three scenes you remember. I doubt there's a single other thing that does.
I'm from Italy. The movie, uncut and in its entirety, aired on TV in Italy in the late mid 80s. If you're also Italian, this might be exactly what you saw.

Nope, german here. Born 1987, so i saw it sometime in the mid 90s i would say.
It might have been rather long ago, but i would remember if it were Ghibly style animation.
I am also SURE that the rescue scene was in actual water. He might have performed CPR (kissing the girl) after pulling her out, which could be why it is one of the only things about that movie i remember.
And that God Warrior would have given me nightmares at that age.

Way older, much more detailed animation. It definitely wouldn't be 1999

Best guess would be some sort of Saturday morning public education show with cutaway animations to illustrate parts of the body, yet it seems to anthropomorphize small bacteria or something on that scale interacting with earwax defenses inside an ear that is entered from the outside of the body. It had enough animation quality to warrant a decent budget. This is almost like a show within a show however and the whole sequence is maybe 5 minutes long tops, the camera pans out of ear to another topic entirely
>>
>>152293203
The only concern is that it might be the same story, but it seems like there might be a different version of it.
I definitely remember that Baron Munchausen also had similar elements like the fast running man
>>
So, from what I remember, this movie had the look and vibe of one of those "kind of obscure, kind of well known" animated films, like the Raggedy Ann & Andy Movie or Hanna-Barbera's Charlotte's Web. In it, toys were alive a la Toy Story, and animals could speak as well (and not just speak, but also act like people, like in An American Tale or The Great Mouse Detective).

Anyway, the main characters (or at least the characters I can remember from this one scene) were a father son toy duo (I think they were connected to each other with the way the toy was made) that I think may have been mice and at some point in the movie they come across a colony of (real, non-toy) rats that were using toys for slave labor. As this one rat was showing the father and son around, a toy donkey collapses and asks for a chance to rest. The boss rat at first tells another rat to grant the donkey's request, initially relieving the donkey, then immediately follows it up by saying "And then wrench him." The toy donkey starts freaking out, and to the father and son's horror (though we only see the shadows on the wall), the second rat uses a wrench to fucking murder the toy donkey right then and there.

I remember this scene traumatized the fuck out of me as a kid and I don't remember a single other thing from this movie. Does anyone else recognize this, or did this shit come to me in a fever dream?

Well, everyone, even the humans, are animated, but Bonkers meets with Mickey Mouse and specifically describes him as a cartoon.
>>
>>152302338
>>152302449
To my understanding, Bonkers (and Goof Troop in its initial planning stages) were both inspired by the film, though I think because of the agreement Disney made with Warner Bros regarding WFRR, they ultimately couldn't use Toon town or that universe in general, so they just made works with similar vibes.
Bonkers is identical where cartoons are actual beings and they "act" in their shows, but of course the premise of the shows is radically different Bonkers pursuing law enforcement instead of being assisted by a PI like Roger.
For Goof Troop, if I'm recalling the details right, was supposed to be about a fire brigade within Toon Town, then it shifted to Goofy being a scoutmaster, and that got dropped, but they kept the "troop" name because of the "close knit" bond with Goofy and Pete's family
>>
While not animated, this film was shown on television in the mid- to late 1970's. I cannot recall the title, and the only time it was on, the program was interrupted by a news-report on an election(?) that took up nearly the entire length of the movie's broadcast time (back then, they ran the film or show behind the interruption non-stop.) I only recall near the end, the film's tragic hero wore a silver skull mask & black hat (seen only in profile), drove the innocent victim to their house to reunite with their 'lost' family. The hero bid him farewell, gave a piece of advice, then the passenger left. Credits rolled.
If anyone knows what film I'm talking about please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Alright, let me try and explain this as best as I can; It was (I think) a flash cartoon with characters that were literally shapes, but they had no limbs and seemed to be underwater. >>
>>152264442
I think it was a movie rather than a cartoon, the main character had some small fey with him and one scene involved literal monsters called "things that go bump in the night". There was also a scene early on where the fairy was saying she wanted "That" pointing at something near his house, and he thought she was asking for his literal house. It would've been 90s or prior.

I might be mixing up two different movies. I vaguely remember said fairy looking somewhat like Celebi.

Did Watership Down have a TV show?
>>
I think it was a movie. I only watched its finale.
Main character was a girl and the villain succeeded at obtaining power of all elements and became a red giant and unleashed it. MC pointed out that he had no control over elements and only could unleash them, so the villain ended up being drowned in laws of a vulcan he unleashed. Maybe she also provoked him into doing such stuff, don't remember.

I've asked this in different places throughout the years and have never been able to find it. I'm starting to think it was a figment of my imagination or lost media, or something very local:

- I only remember the intro.
- It was some cartoon taking place in space. The intro showed space and stars and stuff, I think some spaceship maybe.
- The style was 80s style, possibly early 90s
- The style was typical western style of the time. Like Johnny Quest or GI Joe or something. Like "normal" people with "normal" anatomy/proportions. It could be 80s anime style though I don't trust my memory.
- There were a few characters in the intro but the only one I can faintly remember is some boy, blonde or silver haired. Something light I think. He might've wielded a sword but I'm doubtful about that.
- The other characters were like a team or a family. Like Johnny Quest or Lost in Space

- Now here's the main clue: the intro theme song used a harmonica or flute or both. I don't remember if it was throughout the whole theme intro or some segment. This is my strongest memory of it. If I can find a space cartoon from the 80s/early 90s that uses those instruments or similar, then I am 100% sure it's my holy grail. I've seen a bunch of intros on youtube from that era but haven't found it yet.

Oh and while I'm at it, I need help identifying a cartoon from the 90s. The protagonist was a baby and the side characters were also kids. One of them possibly his sister. He went around on his stroller too. The style resembles stuff like Tiny Toons or Tazmania. I remember one episode being they were on some cruise ship out on the sea and the bad guys were crooks or terrorists or something. The baby and his gang stopped them and saved the day
>>
Have a very vague memory of seeing this when I was young

>2d animation - style looked very 'Disney' to my best recollection but don't remember any Disney characters being in it
>90s
>seemed to be in some sort of unspecified jungle/generic tropical setting

A CG short film released sometime in the mid 2000's. It took place in a dark void and followed the exploits of this cyborg girl. Her body was like a glad vessle surrounded by metal and you could see her rib cage and spinal cord through the glass. The short follows her as she tries to change a lightbulb hanging overhead. She attempts to scale a ladder after putting her pet goldfish in her torso but ultimately falls to her death. I've tried looking for this for years to no avail.

It couldnt have been longer than 10 minutes. I think the only reason it ended up on my ipod was because it was bundled with other oscar winning short films.

>It featured a house with a lot of kids inside and outside around the house
>After that scene, some alien disguised as a child came up to the door with the parents adopting them immediately
>It goes kind of well until the alien started to act like a shithead like staying up late and watching the TV without permission

There was a guy going around space sucking up planets with a machine to make his own super big planet. In the end, he got caught and had to separate the planets with a pickaxe like he was in a chain gang. He might've been a wolf, and I think he was caught by getting sucked into his own machine.

It was a pilot for something i can't quite name. It was a 3d animation cartoon in early CN days, that was very moody, and all about robots. It wasn't a series, It was definitely only a one 5 minute clip and more of a station generated local channel animation with crude freeform animation typical of an American style proto adult swim. Only other hint I can even think of is that the Animation camera zoomed out of the ear slowly and transitioned into people riding bikes.

I was waiting for a thread like this. Thank you! I need your help finding a specific cartoon movie that I watched when I was a kid.

I remember well it was a an animated movie with two kids, both boys or maybe one was a girl? and another character that was an adult (I think a knight, maybe) and a horse? who helped them.

I remember the main antagonist was a witch. She had green-skin, long nose, stout body and wore purple clothes.

Something notorious about the movie is that it had transitions of that of a storybook. For example, I remember one scene
where the witch appeared to kidnap one of the kids. The other kid and the adult ran to the rescue but were unable to pass through a door/wall composed of bones/bars.
It was then that the movie stopped right at the boy and the adult trying to pass through that door while watching how the other kid was being kidnapped and suddenly a narrator spoke and the camera zoomed out to show a wider view that revealed it all being in a storybook.

I don't remember very well how they defeated the witch, but it involved the two kids and it was right there in her lair. I also remember a big cauldron which I'm not sure if was part of the witch's plan.

Another thing that I clearly remember was that right before the end, the narrator spoke again and it was the witch all along and laughed loudly, leaving ambiguous if the witch actually died.

I'm pretty sure it was a movie because I remember the credits being displayed in the witch's lair, but I only remember them being displayed only there.

Finally, I'm pretty sure it must have a latin spanish dub because I saw it in that language and I saw it around 2000-2004, not sure what tv channel it was shown. That's all I remember.

Please, help me find this. I've been going crazy all about this for many years without anyone even remembering it.

I think it was earlier.

My mind keeps switching between the style of a 80's cartoon like He-Man and the Smurfs tv series. It was definitely from its era. Not that old either but it had that vibe from 80's or 90's but not earlier. Since it was on my tv here where I watched it I am certain it must have had a latin dub and I tried my best looking for it in the official wiki with no luck.

There's a couple of pieces of animated media I vaguely recall.
One is a made for TV movie that has woodland critters going up against small stingray slug looking aliens.
There's a scene near the end that sticks out in my mind where the main alien villain is retreating to its space ship. It has a look of hate in its eyes.
Then there's this animated short that I recall a little more vividly. It was aired on Cartoon Network. It was a day when they ran a litany of old cartoons. All the cartoons were aired according to how old they were, regressing backward to what they claimed was to 'the first cartoon.'
In this animated short that was seemingly from the 60s, had a weird little yellow man and his love interest at a freaky zoo. At some point the man's love interest gets fed up with the little yellow man and she pushes him into an exhibit. As he fellow we are shown a trippy sequence that eventually leads to showing the little yellow man in the exhibit, eating what I recall was a watermelon.
>>
Okay so there is a male kid character and maybe a girl, perhaps they are siblings. They somehow go to a different world. Maybe a mirror world? They meet an old man, maybe related to them and the way they found out he was fake or that they were in the wrong world was because a watch or the old mans pocket watch was mirrored? 90's-ish animation probably.
