My parents never forbid me from watching any cartoon, but I remember everyone around me wasn't allowed to watch Ed Edd N' Eddy or other Cartoon Network shows, because apparently they were "A bad influence"... not like it mattered as those kids were assholes regardless anyways. And then by Middleschool they just moved onto Family guy and South park, the only exceptions being the ones already watching Family Guy and South park.It was kind of hard being a CN kid then, everyone was either "I'm not allowed to watch such heretical garbage" or "Really? You're not watching South Park? You baby!", you were just stuck in a weird in between that never fit in anywhere.
