Mitchells Vs The Machines is my favorite movie from Netflix's animated movie catalog and I cant wait for the sequel. I can already see how it's going to turn out.
>Katy graduates from college and lands her first real Hollywood job at a major film studio. She gets fired a week later after she, and the entire studio for that matter, get replaced by AI. She finds out its not just entertainment, literally every job from cooking to even simplistic stuff like being a courtesy clerk is being phased out by AI in one way or another.
>If the main villain from the first movie was an Iphone, it only makes sense that the sequel has ChatGPT as the main big bad. It thinks it can "Permanently improve" the human experience by replacing every aspect with a crappy AI generated variation. Movies and shows are now AI generated, food is now AI generated, romance is now AI generated, friendships are now AI generated, families are now AI generated, existing in general is going to be AI generated.
>There'd be a scene of the Mitchell family going shopping for Groceries but immediately realize something is wrong. The prices don't make sense, the food packaging looks weird, fellow shoppers and employees are talking like aliens saying weird stuff like "sir have you seen where the sloppy burnt cinnamon Mickie's are hiding?"
>Cue the horror movie style reveal that their entire town has been replaced by an AI version, the whole world is getting fucking replaced by AI.
Idk I think it could be dope.

all of her art, even the Roadbump characters got influenced by her schizo unmedicated mind with ugly psychodelic designs. the same would have happened with any Kaite ss art she made so dont be too disappointed

I rewatched it for the first time in years.

It was more obnoxious and gen Z pandering than I remember.

The dad pov was the one thing that felt out of balance for a kid’s movie in the first one ngl, I’d be interested to see a new personal angle.

this could've been good if it was just about the families on vacation without robots taking over the world or whatever happened in the movie.
