Why aren't there a ton of dumb comics with lots of fights in them? Wouldn't comic readers love that?
>>152323574Comic readers, yes. The people working in the comic industry, no.
>>152323574Not really. The best selling comics aren't big on action. It's mostly drama and the occasional bit of violence. Still a good amount of action in them but not the majority of the time.
Because comics cost like $5 a pop these days$5 gets you 300 pages of manga in Japan so if there's like 150 pages of fighting, cool there's still lots of time for story progressionBut if you get 12 pages of fighting in a $5 comic that takes you less than a minute to go through,it'd feel like a ripoff. Doesn't help that the art of fighting isn't that impressive in most American(or frankly, European comics, I would love examples otherwise though) anyway.
>>152323574Because the industry is infested with woke gaytards
>>152323588>>152323747We should probably just cancel comics then. What's the point, if it's all just gonna be boring, gay drama that goes nowhere?
>>152324330The point is that the people making the boring, gay drama comics get to be smug about how mad they're making comic book readers.
>>152323574Invisible sold like shit and was kept on life support by success of the Walking Dramaslop.
>>152323574Luther Strode
>>152323574Holy shit this is so bad. Even the worst shonenslop manga has better fight and paneling. Damn, even webcomics have better art. What the fuck is wrong with comic artists?
>>152324488They don't really consider things like flow and impact. In Japan, it seems to be taught in art school and learned by passionate artists.
>>152325401The sooner you understand comics are IP farms/money laundering schemes the sooner it all makes sense.
